OK...OK no need to blast someone fer nothing,why the name calling? the only thing that can damage your laser is the mod chip,not a rip,after all its data thats stored on a disc,correct??when the chips first came out you had to adjust laser pots etc,how old is your chip? the newer chips does not require any adjustments.there fore quiter running...correct??.like ihaveanosebleed explained to you,just like everything else they are prone to wearing out,much like the psx,they had the same problem with earlier chips.
