Sony CRX140E RESTORE AFTER BAD FLASH

Ok if you have recently done a BAD-FLASH on your
Sony CRX140E Burner.?

and want to restore it you need to get a file from DELL which is a firmware update for the Sony CRX140E CDR/RW Drives.? the update is 1.0n

BUT!! DELL doesnt tell you about some hidden switches in the flashing program but here they are just for you? lol

After you have made the disk type in a dos box sys c: a:
why? because D104e10n.exe places old MSDOS boot files on the floppy? and if you need access to your hard-disk you wont find it?

edit the autoexec.bat file and copy this command into it?
& then REBOOT!! follow onscreens prompts after that?

RESTORE YOUR DRIVE:
type A:\d140e10n update.bin /M /2 /F /AT

where:
/M = master
/S = slave
/1 = primary IDE chain
/2 = secondary IDE chain
/AT = AT bus
/F = Force flash

I HAVE NOT TESTED THE ABOVE METHODS MYSELF?
