Well, im in kind of the same situation.
There are differing reports about the capabilities of Plex writers (especially the 24x, greetz laffin tattie
).
The LiteOns are said to be able to copy anything. I havent heard that someone had problems with them, except when using wrong settings.
I think i will buy a LiteOn.
