The wire thickness is all about having them thin enough to fit onto legs that are about 0.125mm wide! Only the Power and ground cables would be ordinary thicker wire.

For the business wires (about 21 of them) you'd nee 31 awg = 33 swg wire; either Kylar (sheathed - heavier to work with) or enamelled copper which is lighter and easier to work with. Enamelled copper is the pro's favourite - used for transformer windings.
