Well m8 I personally had a Mp7120a sk which I was told by Ricoh technical was a oem version and came without any media.

But mine did, I didn't keep it however because is doesn't have any form of burn proofing so I sold it after 2 days.

I am now either going to buy the Ricoh7125a or the Plex 1210ta.

Believe me it's a hard decision mainly because if like me you want to get something as compatable as possible with all forms of protection everyone swears by the Plex but just as many complain of problems with sub channel stuff.

I emailed both Plex and Ricoh asking if they supported subchannel reading and writing Ricoh said YES but Plex didn't commit themselves ?
So the way I see it is buy Ricoh and be sure it's OK or risk a Plex and find out when it's too late.........
