For CD, two essential pieces of software exist:

CloneCD (www.elby.de) which makes 1:1 copies of protected (and unprotected) games. So if you have a disk to copy or a downloaed CCD and IMG file, then this is the program. Your reader/burner have to be 100% compatible and the web site will tell you this (if all writing in the table entry for your device is written in green, it's 100% OK).

CDRWin (www.goldenhawk.com] which is used for burning most downloads. These ownloads are usually pre-patched to work. CDRWin does not make 1:1 copies and so patches are usually needed to make protected games work with CDRWin.

So ROXIO software - forget about it.
