I don't fancy creative drives too much. So many of them aren't CAV (constant access velocity.) They have a habit of spinning up and down during access. I replaced my creative reader with a Toshiba XM-6702B. My writer is a Ricoh MP7060A, which unfortunately doesn't burn a good SD2 copy. But then again, I found the unSafedisk program specially written for SD2. I just make my own fixed exe if there's none yet available.
