That sucks. There's no way to make the board send me emails when a user wants to email me, without allowing the board to send an email everytime someone posts a message in a thread I'm participating in... That should be separate. I should be able to prevent the board from sending me a flood of messages from everyone who replies to a thread, but still have the board allow users to send me email from my profile...
OK, you know the old "modified" email address ploy to prevent BOTs from grabbing your email for use in spamming... Here's one of those very same types of email addresses...
