I'll start with the most obvious (just to be sure and cover it). Have you burnt a heapful of mp3 as a data cd, or have you created an audio cd (the correct way - will hold about 20 songs)
Try burning at a lower speed - try 4X for test purposes. Also you won't be able to use CD-RW as the drive won't recognise them.
Oh yea - I see this is an old(ish) topic which shows you have searched the forum - even if it was just to the bottom of the page. THANKS. Not a lot of ppl do that.
