OK..... Have you got your CDRom and burner on the same IDE channel? or is your CDRom on the same channel as your Hard drive? If its with the hard drive then i would look at changing it to the other channel and leave the hardrive separate.

Stick with CDRWin for the moment and reduce your read and write speeds down to 2x read (data and audio) and 4x write, use you burner for the read and write session because burners usually have stronger lasers.

Create an image on the hard drive first, apply any patch you require and then write to the burner. If the games are old then you may want to give them a clean first with a soft cloth, dont use any chemicals as they may damage the surface of the disc.

With the read session leave all the settings as default but make sure that you check the RAW box.

When you are ready to write then again leave all the settings as default this time including the RAW box (leave it unchecked).

If you get errors during the read session then it would probably be due to a damaged disc and a different original would be the best option to try.
