You cannot even browse your RA2 CD?
If you could you should try copying the [RA2CD]\setup folder from any of the CDs to your HD and then install it again. CD still needs to be inserted for installation. Also be sure to download the latest patch from
www.westwood.com
I cant help you with AoE2 since i dont own it.
