if you want to be sure of what chip you got, open the bottom part of the case and look at the chip. if it's a long 28 pin chip with a brownish 3 pin thingy attached, it's definately the origa.
also, the origa is the best chip for jap models already. the USB mod is crap, no imports, no dvd-r.

One last question. You mentioned that I can use a AR2 disk to do a single swap boot, can the AR2 image file I download from
http://lanvo_1.tripod.com/quang/id5.html be used for this single swap trick. Also I've heard that I can use GameShark to do this same swap trick...is this right?
