[patch god]

Dont know if this game got released in america or whatever but they remade it, and i saw it at the game store( in Australia). its on the psone and i was wondering if the fellas at squaresoft decided to protect it??? Any info would be great, also it says it has a playable demo of FFX in it, would the demo be on psone or ps2???
