Well to play you ps1 or ps2 games you backup you will need a modchip either a neo chip and gameshark or one the fancy chips like messiah (better have some soldering pro install it) but u shouldnt need the gameshark with this one. I only using a neo2.2 chip. As far as dvd copying I cant tell you how to do it. I think u still have to put it on hardrive and then edit it to fit on the 4.7 gig blank dvd. For me its not economical to do this. I just buy the dvd movie. But you will need a DVD-R drive to do you ps2 burning. Just my 2 cents worth.
