have you checked www.elby.de for information specific to your writer? specifically, if it does not have any dots beside 'correct efm bit patterns' or however that reads, then your writer cannot write a copy without using AWS option. even then, you must either use hide cd-r media or play the copy from a non-writer.
if there is a dot (i doubt it), read the disk raw and click fast error skip, then use AWS and raw-dao at write time. good luck, and i hope you use a cd-rw to test
