u could also try using a cd dvd cleaner disk on your ps2
i do mine every months say helps to keep it clean inside
my v4 messiah was done by channel tech first 30 they did i guess they adjusted laser then before that it had neo2.2 in it for 6 months it still reads all brands dvdr np
