I was trying to put a No CD patch on ST: Armada 2, and I am having little luck. I did a full install and used the first NO Cd patch on Gamecopy world (just a fixed exe) The game worked but about 70% of the time that I started it the computer spontaneously restarted, I upgraded to version 1.1 and tried both NO CD patches on Gamecopy world and while the game would run and start, once actually playing in the game it would freeze every 15 seconds for about 5-15 seconds. turning down graphics, soudns, etc had no beneficial effect. So I reinstalled v1.0 and used the 1.1 fixed exe and the game starts..sometimes..and runs..sometimes..but then I get the blue screen of death. I have a celeron 400, 384 mb ram, soundblaster pci512, 32 mb ATI rage xpert 99/2000 , and I'm running windows XP pro. Can anyone solve this? I do have hte latest sound card and graphics card drivers, and it's extremely frustrating. Anyhelp would be welcome.
