I have the version r ps2 with the extra screw in the expansion slot and have installed the solderless mod chip. PS1 and PS2 games load no problem but I have been unable to load dvd-r(using TDK media and Pioneer DVR-A03). Latest try using Grand Theft Auto 3 to load backup of Jax and Dexter. I am in US and cannot figure out this problem. Using Gameshark version 2 and Prassi Primo to make backup.
