I have a Philips CDD4801 burner

I have read that Liteon is the best for burning backup copies of games you own, but I was wondering if philips will actually burn a perfect 1:1 copy. I am going insane because I have wasted many discs on safedisc V2.51, I am now using RW's lol. Thanks for any response.
