winXP pro has a very high standard for the kinds of files it will allow to run. specifically, you are getting the 'not a win32 application' error. you cannot change the file to be a win32 application. your best bet is to try other patches on the site until you find one that is. i dont know the programming behind it (yet) but i am sure this is ur problem
