boot problems
ok, so i just got a ps2 pre-modded in taiwan... its the japan model tho. i have no idea wut the modchip is.
i also am using action replay 2 for booting.
i just bought some backups online ... and about 50% of the cd's dont work.
here's my boot process for cds:
eject
insert cd
hold reset until tray is closed
press reset twice
at menu, tray opens automatically
switch to backup game
START - WITHOUT CODES - X
the cds that dont work arent scratched or messed up, and after checkin them on my desktop, they all have data on them, they just dont load.
some are EA games, but then... some of the working ones are EA games too... ive tried the alternative boot methods online... but they dont even work with any of my cds, much less the non-working ones.
any ideas?... im pretty sure i need an alternative booting method, but i could be wrong.
