It seems that you've got problems finding the stuff I mentioned:

and surf the links!
It's been a long time since I downloaded that stuff, sorry!
But you need the Divx
Codec, FlaskMpeg and VirtualDub! There is a new application
DVD2DIVX GUI
but it doesn't work that well yet, only the Smartripper included in it is very useful to decrypt encrypted DVD's....
