[Grymlingen]

So, this is not really about backups, but I didn't know where to ask.

Ok, here goes:

My PS2 makes a lot of noise. I mean a LOT of noise. Not the discs spinning, no, just by turning it on. The fan is mad. I would guess the sound level is around 30dB, which is a hell of lot noisier than my PC.

So, is the PS2 that noisy, or is mine just ####ed up?

Next question:

I just bought the damn thing, so I only have one game. It's THPS 3. When I start the game it loads a few screens, then freezes at a black screen. I have to reboot several times for it to work properly. Is this an PS2 issue, or could it be the game itself. Btw, it's a brand new original. Not even dust on the disc.
