The 6.06 fix does not work for me either. Same errors.. I believe it was for a "beta" version.
I hope that a new 6.06 "full" version time-limit fix will be released. NEW versions of X-plane are always being released, and 6.10 won't contain anything more than a few minor tweaks and a new .exe that needs to be patched. When this new version is released, you will no longer be able to find (or download) the previous version. So when you find a fix for an older version, it will be worthless. Hopefully someone will bother to patch 6.06.
I spend more time downloading X-plane than I do flying it. This is sad. All I want is to not have to put the CD in the drive every freakin time I play it.
