I used to own a Freecom burner but it failed to copy alot of various stuff and after reading in these forums decided to get myself a Plextor. Previously I tried to copy Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds which is protected with "Safedisc" (NB not SF2) using my Freecom, it kind of copied, it let me install but when I came to play it it asked for the cd. This was copied with CloneCD.

When the Plextor copied it coped it properly as to copy the protection part too and this now works 100%. This was copied with Nero.

But my real point is, I really rate CloneCD because it does alot of different things, I haven't looked a Nero close enough to compare, but Clone is supported very well. There are alot of ppl in here who rate Nero so it must be good.

My other point is it depends alot on your burner as to whether it can copy protected software or not. My previous was burner was pants.
