Zoo Tycoon is protected with safedisc LT. In short,this is a version of safedisc that only checks the Cd authentification during installation.

If authentification fails the install folder will be deleted and will appear a pretty mesage saying: 'Failed CD authentification' :-(

If authentification success the file LTDLL.DLL will decrypt game executable which is encrypted into the CD and will put it in the install folder :-)

File LTDLL.DLL have an export called LTDLL_Authenticate that ... guess what it does ?!?! ... only have to ... jajaja ... do u think i'm going to tell u everything? ... try it!!

Finally for all that only wants to release, just change the original LTDLL.DLL for mine and it's done ;-)
