I managed to get all backups,dvd's and dvd'rs to load by moving the two pots to 600 ohms. My chip has a cap fitted, but moving these done the trick and straight in first time. Use a multimeter and record what the pots are currently set at incase it ****s up then adjust both to around 600 ohms.
