Ok I have an original version... So I have th original serial number for mine. My cracked patch and no cd executable worked well on my machine and installation even after a fresh reinstall just to verify.. I have been playing online multiplayer since the update came out and havent had a problem... I am running the NO-CD executable myself... I cant promise it doesnt activate fade.. All I can say is that it is working fine with mine.. I do feel it may have something to do with the serial no and the registry....
