well it can b done
but vcd must b put through mydvd burning software then burnt to dvd (works ive done it)
to cdr (not tried yet
but mydvd converts files to different format
on cd would take to many disks

my advice is to convert to mpeg2 dvd compliant (not vcd) then to mydvd
finishing file is bigger but quality movie is very close to origanal dvd bitrate 4xish as high
