fritz6 - physical error protection- bypass with cdrwin??

I've tried to make a backup of fritz6 (Non-german version), following the instructions in gamecopyworld. I know it is for german version, but I thought the same method could be applied for other versions.
(Using cdrwin, annotating the sectors in which it fails, end making an image up to that sector (less one)). The resulting image.bin is not processed by nero (it refuses to burn the resulting image), and if I try to burn the image via CDRWIN it creates a useless CD audio track.
I'll try to make a image using CLONECD, but I'd like a more clever method, to avoid waiting useless hours to bypass the stupid 'physical ring'
I know it's a matter of time, but perhaps my CD-ROM don't like it (Someone said me the CD-ROM writer may get damage if you use it to do infinite stupid readings)

Thanks.
