Ok. Can someone tell me EXACTLY how to do this? I'm trying to copy Black and White, and I followed the directions in GCW to the best of my abilities, but it doesn't work. Here's what I did.
1. I copied all contents of the cd to this directory-C:\temp\cd.
2. I downloaded the executable archive provided on the site. I then right clicked it to extract it, but there was no extract menu option, so I used winzip to "add" it to C:\temp. Another window popped up with the file and an extract "button" in the toolbar. So, I highlighted the file and "extracted" it to C:\temp, as instructed.
3. I then downloaded 16comp.zip, opened it, and extracted 16comp.exe to C:\temp as already described.
4. This step is the problem, I believe. The instructions say "Execute bnw_sp.bat from the temp directory to replace the game executable in the installation files." Well, I can't find bnw_sp.bat ANYWHERE on my computer. I've searched, used the find files or folders utility, and it is simply not there. So, I burned all of C:\temp to a cd-r, and it didn't work, of course. I got a message that said "please insert the correct cd-rom into the drive", or something to that effect. My burner is an LG CD-RW CED-8083B (That means it's just a generic piece of crap, no manufacturer). I have CloneCD, Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4, and the latest nero. Can someone help me?
