I use the CloneCD v2.8.4.3, to try and backup PC games but it failes. Here is what I did:
1. Choose the “Copy CD” icon.
2. Read tab: I selected my CD Burner, read speed-max, and did not select any choices.
3. Image File Tab: temp file, checked “delete after a successful Write”.
4. Write Tab: I selected my CD Burner, write speed-max, and write mode-Raw DAO, I checked “Burn Proof/Just Link “and” Always close last Session.”
5. Global Tab: I checked “Eject Media” and “Play Sound”, and File Buffer Settings is set to 3.59 Mbytes.
6. Then I click on “Start Disc Copy” Icon.

After the process starts I check the log files and I read “Failed to read Sector ###”. The log lists all the sector numbers it fails to read. At this point I stop the process.
If you do it different, would you please explain to me how you make your back up copies.
