I cant help with the No cd patch, but if you get time to answer a couple questions, why go to the trouble of finding a no cd for it when you can buy it for 10 bucks or less, Ive seen it a couple places here.
Also, I love Aoe 2 and also the Conquerors expansion, I went back and tried Aoe1 and it was just totally unplayable to me after experiencing the 2nd one, have you tried it yet, its amazing anyone would play 1 when 2 is available with an excellent expansion disk, there is no comparison in any phase of the game for 1 and 2, and compared to 2, the graphics suck in 1, just curious.
