From the package, 7z.exe, wem-packer.exe and wem-unpacker.exe contain the "longPathAware" attribute in their manifest. If you import this:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem]
"LongPathsEnabled"=dword:00000001
into your registry then these programs - and only these - will be able to handle paths longer than the default maximum of 260 characters. More information:
