btw, try separating the pin using a very fine blade (let another guy hold the blade)(i dunno if gillete blades are available in your country) and don't apply pressure or your chip legs will go off. And then heat a little amount of lead to the tip of your soldering iron and tip of your wire. Be sure not to apply too much heat or it will damage the chip (just a slight touch and the lead will do the rest).
oh i forgot, use a fine tip soldering iron and use an 20W or less.
