Hi all,
Recently I've been looking again into properly processing ".PCK" archives as I have a feeling I'm missing out on a decent ratio by just processing them with srep & lolz.
So far the current steps I've got figured out are to extract each file from the PCK archive using the handy
BMS script provided by panker.
From here we're left with a variety of files. In the case of the
following sample from the title "Immortals: Fenyx Rising" we're left with a bunch (753) of apparent ".wav" audio files however attempting to decode them with a regular player app, like VLC will result in failure. A similar result is met when trying to pack these files with MSC (no streams are detected).
Currently I've been following some threads on XeNTaX
[1][2][3], however at least at the time of writing I haven't had any luck with finding a method to decode the files into a pack-able format, and then subsequently recode/patch these valid files back into their original CRC-matching form.
Has anyone had any success stories they'd be willing to share?
