Any idea if the No cd + music patches are bust?

I tried the "all" no cd +music patch, followed all the instructions and end up with a CRC error when running the patch (yes, I applied the official 1.1 patch first) - can't apply patch, it sez.

Then tried the US one, the much easier version, and it works to fix the CD check, but no music.

Any thoughts? Mine is the UK version, I got the 1.1 patch from the LucasArts site. I've done a complete install. It works fine with the CDs, but I'd prefer not to use 'em.
