CLONECD!!! The protection is a form of safedisc V1. CloneCD settings were read subchannel for audio and data, fast error skip - no correction, read retries = 1, read speed = 1. most CD-ROMS these days have a limited number of data read rates, i.e they read at 8x, 16x, 20x, 24x, 32x, 40x but NOT other speeds inbetween. So setting the read rate in clone to 1x will actually give a read rate of 8x or whatever the lowest speed is. These allows read retries of only 1 if the disc is clean.
Write settings are: - write subchannel uncorrected.
My backup worked fine.
Same with tomb raider chronicles, and that's supposed to be safedisc v2.
