Well spoken, CaptainTrips
This cyberflop is really a pain in the butt, hehe.
Maybe he should become politician - most of them also say a lot, but know nothing.
I cannot offer a solution on how to create perfect copies of safedisc 2 protected games and I fear (for all I know until now) some of us will have to get a new burner again to be able to. But I can give you at least a few infos.
I don't believe that SD 2 uses subchannel data for the given reasons (I was able to create a 'working' copy of RA2 with a TEAC CD532S, CDR55S and Disc Juggler 300736 - all three not known to be very subchannel friendly ).
VeNoM386 (the programmer of DAEMON Tools) currently works hard on understanding SD 2 and of course to include an emulation for unperfect copies in DAEMON Tools. And if even HE does not fully understand SD 2 yet i doubt cyberflop does. BTW, in his opinion Macrovision did a great job (sad enough *GGG*). The bad sector area (and check) is EXACTLY the same as in SD 1, but they introduced at least TWO NEW CD checks we do not fully understand yet. And until we do I won't speculate about it's abilities (BTW killer, putting together a lot of half-true "read-on-the-web"s will help a shit to defeat SD2 IMHO). But as soon as we're sure what they check and why we'll post it on our homepage.
Until then I can only advise you to TRY (and BTW, using RWs won't help - I wasn't able to create a working copy on a RW - but the same image and settings brought a 'working' copy on a normal media) to burn SD 2. On some recorders you will at least be able to create a copy working in your recorder or even all CDROMS of your PC. But this copy will MOST LIKELY not work on ANY other PC. Some SD 2 protected games (like Delta Force Land Warrior) can even be copied perfect on every recorder. So give it a try (but don't waste more than one media - if it won't work on the first time it will most likely not work second time, too) - CD media are cheap !

Oh, and cyberflop - didn't you want to leave this board *GGGG*. Or did you think this board will lack desinformation if you do so??

@ gud - your infos are totally wrong. There's no such info on a CD media. If it was noone would be able to create a perfect copy!

@ Omega - use the link in my sign to get DAEMON Tools.
