Of course you can. Using "Arc.groups" you can make FreeArc to select compressors that fit each file type in an entire folder.
Example for

for *.exe, *dll <= razor_mtx
for *.pak <= zlib+srep+lolz
etc.
You can see that "CIU" uses this concept.
