FAQ:
Q: I don't like the compression, can you create a version with a different compression?
A: No, if want to try a different compression feel free to do it yourself, just edit the
Data1.ini file in the conversion's
[Common\Settings] folder to try a different compression, for available options see the
UCC Wiki.
Q: Will this conversion work with game version X?
A: Yes, it should, the amount of disc output will vary though.
Q: The conversions doesn't work, I get an error or the compression unexpectedly stop in the middle, why?
A: Make sure you windows operating system is 64bit, the conversion cannot work on 32bit versions of windows.
Q: Why won't the conversion work on my 32bit windows?
A: Due to the game size (around 40GB) I had to use 64 bit version of Srep compressor, the game is too large for the 32bit Srep to handle, it gives error every single time, 64 bit programs just can't work on 32 bit systems.
Q: Can you make a DVD9 version?
A: There's no need, all you need to do to create a DVD9 version is a simple edit to the
Settings.ini file inside the
[Common\Settings] folder of the conversion files, find the line that say
DiscType=DVD5 and change it to
DiscType=DVD9, that all there is to it, the converter will now create the conversion using DVD9 disc spanning.
