I guess your better resort is playing that game inside a VM with virtual box , vmware or similar with an old versión of windows if there is no cd patch available..
or check if gog have it they remaster some games but dont know this one .
Sure starforce should be ever worst with that junkyard driver on windows 10 just looked like an horrible rootkit
