Except it isn't, but seriously I wonder how is it any different from just setting output directory to external device. Or if you're asking for the splitting thing to be completely removed, well that isn't a problem either, all you do is just set a volume size bigger than game, game will be converted to external device and no splits will be created. Done, this feature is already there.

Things get much worse if you're dealing with a solid state drive, because these tend to fail without any prior warnings whatsoever.
A cloud storage is a more robust solution, but seeing where Razor's from, I don't think that's a viable solution for him either. Telkom charges a limb or two for unlimited bandwidth, if I recall correctly.
Pity Razor lives too far from me. Recovering data off of dead hard drives is just a matter of few hours for me.  Granted, if I can manage a donor drive that matches the model that failed on him.

Well too late, I already opened the hard drive and extracted the magnet it had inside, don't really remember why I took it out though.
