You might want to try to set up a virtual machine with a minimum install of whatever Windows is required to play the game, with minimum hardware. I recommend VirtualBox but you could also try WMvare Player (all free). (I just managed to make Sports Car GT, from 1999-2000, work under Windows 98 in Virtual PC.
