Why do you want to do it? You can't boot off the backed up disk - you can only boot from an original.

if your original is damaged you have to get another. Try cleaning it in warm soapy water and dry with a lint free cloth. Is there any visible damage on your AR2 original?

Incidentally, CloneCD will read it unless the lead-in track/TOC is damaged.
