Firstly, you're discussing warez, secondly you never pay attention to the installation of the repack you are installing so you can learn how it was compressed, compressing this game is easy. You failed to realize that the warez group had files which are foreign during installation meaning only one thing. The game files were unpacked.
First of all, you don't directly compress it because it's already compressed, the iwd files are basically zip files, unpack those using 7-Zip then you can now compress the game, when unpacking, all that you need to do is use ISPackZip from ISDone, that function was there for a reason it isn't there for decoration, you use that function on the data you unpacked to remake the iwd files during installation. Done, what more do you want? The just resample, remove MP files if you are not into quality, but beware the MP files are needed for special ops which can be played offline last time I checked. There audio is simply wav, apply msc.
Done, you can get a size even better than theirs. |
i already know this and i don't mention it here because i don't know he cn manage such complexity. Even if he can next question wil gonnal be "How can i do it with Wpi or with some other installer" or something else...
simply using precomp on iwd files makes life a lot easier
for hardcore repacker, why to pack things back? jst merge the folder extracted and try to run the game
and play it for more then 30 mins if u don't experience any crash then bonzai you got it
