Hello all! Im new to burning. I have a couple of questions to make and some doubts that need to be cleared up. First of all whats the best way to copy any cd?? Record an image to the hard disk then burn it?
ANSWER: Record an image to the hard disk then burn it
I have CloneCD, CDRWIN and BlindRead/Write. I hear a lot of CloneCD but i dont understand 1:1 copies, what is that???
ANSWER: clone cd it copies the protection so there is no need to patch (but if its mod chip protected you will need to patch you can tell if its mod chip protected the original game will not play if you got a mod chip fitted) so use cdrwin & pff-o-matic if you need to patch a game (clonecd as to be 100% compatible with your writer)
Is it possible to backup a PSX game and be able to play it without a MOD chip?? IF so how?? If their is a site that can explain most of my doubts please post it.
ANSWER: yes you can a the swap trick with a PS-X Change disc
Whats the best recording speed?
ANSWER:x2-x4 but some like to do the writing faster
I would like to know an efficient and fast speed that will work with out errors.
ANSWER: you shound never have erorrs on psx game if you do it means the game is damage in some way
My main reason for burning will be PSX games. I think i have all the necesary tools.
How do i bypass the protection some CD's have. Like Time Crisis for ###ne, they use a PSX/Libcrypt protection, how do i bypass that??
ANSWER: with clonecd with these settings
READ:
subchannel data from data on
subchannel audio from data on
all the rest off
WRITE:
don't repair data on
always close on
all the rest off
but clonecd as to be 100% compatible with these settings it will copy the protection
