Hangs on Sony logo...
I am attempting to make a backup of Breath of Fire 4 (PAL) from a CD image file. Everything seemed to go fine, and it worked on my computer in both VGS and ePSXe. However, when loaded on my ###ne, it hangs at the Sony logo. I burned it at 2x speed (my recorder, an Acer CRW1208A listed as ATAPI CD R/RW 12x8x32 doesn't support 1x, only 2x, 4x, 8x and 12x) onto a Princo 80 minute CD using the copy of Nero 5 that came bundled with my CDRW drive. After this, I tried burning with RAW Write (or something similar to that) enabled, onto a different CD (Olympic 74 minute) and the same thing happened. I have tried CDRWIN, FireBurner and DiscJuggler and none of the programs worked at all (CDRWIN said something like "Unable to set speed" and the other two said "Illegal field in command descriptor block", whatever that means). To try and see what caused the problem, I attempted to load it with my Gameshark CD, which displays the system's messages as it loads the game. I got something along the lines of "could not load system.cnf" or "system.cnf not found" even though it is definitely there on the CD. Also, the CD is recognised in the PSX's audio player. Why does it work there and on my PC, but not in the PSX, and what can be done to fix it?
