ANSWER: It's still the 8MB Sony card - that's just my opinion and others will disgaree. The reason is that it is not universally good for booting backups, esp. DVDRs.

ANSWER: Yes in most cases.

(3) where can i purchase the card from.
ANSWER: Anywhere that stocks PS2.
