Nook..... Well i am going to have to agree with the majority here (BOT-CK, Warlock and Deano).

Downloaded or backed up PSX boot cd will not work on its own, you will still have to have a mod chip that supplies the PSX with the essential info that it requires to "fool" it into thinking it has a genuin PSX title on board.

Six screws to remove the cover and you will get the answer you want!
